Sancia Recovery Inc’s approach to substance abuse/dependency and alcohol treatment is three fold, encompassing the clients’ psychological, emotional and spiritual needs.

We are a client-centered facility based on respect and compassion. Each problem area is individually addressed, offering a wide range of therapeutic interventions to help each client achieve their specific goals.

Our multi-disciplinary team deals not only with alcohol and drug abuse and dependency, but with the underlying issues that are the contributing factors to the disease of addiction, including dual-diagnosis treatment.

Our program is tailored to meet the individual’s specific needs by treating the person as well as their families with the type of service that will best facilitate the recovery process. All this is accomplished in a loving and caring professional manner, which we feel, is our trademark to quality treatment.

Chemical Dependency Services

Initial Assessment:

A complete assessment and diagnosis of the individual is conducted. The assessment includes a comprehensive psychosocial, screening for chemical dependency, physical examination, and psychiatric evaluation if necessary.

Day Outpatient Program:

The day outpatient program provides substance abuse treatment for individuals who require a higher level of care. Clients also meet with their primary counselor for individual sessions two times per month. The day outpatient program operates Monday – Friday 9:30 am to 1:00 pm providing 17.5 hours of intensive treatment per week.

Intensive Evening Outpatient Program:

The intensive evening outpatient program provides substance abuse treatment for individuals who are working and would be unable to attend treatment during day hours. This level offers individual and group counseling with a strong relapse prevention focus. Clients also meet with their primary therapist for individual sessions two times per month. Our IOP treats both substance abuse and co-dependence allowing patients to reside at home and work in their local community while in treatment. The IOP program operates Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm providing 12 hours of intensive treatment per week.

Non-Intensive Outpatient Program:

The non-intensive outpatient program provides substance abuse treatment to individuals who require the lowest level of outpatient substance abuse treatment. This program addresses the needs of early recovery and works to stabilize and strengthen the patient’s core foundation of recuperation and healing. Individuals attend group two times per week for one and a half hour groups. The non-intensive program provides participants with 3 hours of treatment per week. Clients also meet with their primary therapist for individual sessions two times per month.

Recovery Support:

Individuals are admitted to this program after competing their initial treatment program. It is designed for patients who have 6 months or more of recovery and need to work on life issues. This program is open-ended and meets once per week for 1.5 hours.

Specialized Chemical Dependency Services

14-week DWI-Specific Treatment Program:

This program provides specialized treatment for the DWI offender. Program provides three hours of group treatment per week and two individual sessions within the 14-week program.

Alcohol & Drug Related Crisis Interventions:

This program is designed to provide a structure utilizing the Hazelton Model for interventions. Under the direction of our Clinical Director, family and/or friends are brought together for a four-part module with the goal of convincing a loved one they need treatment.

Family Program – Alcohol & Drug Abuse/Dependency Education/Prevention:

The family program is designed with the goal to introduce participants to the principals of recovery along with providing necessary social & emotional support. The family program educates family members in understanding the web of addiction and its impact on the family as a whole.

Dual-Diagnosis Recovery Program:

This program provides treatment for those struggling with abuse/dependence and mental health diagnosis. The program is designed to help the patient identify the interrelationship between co-occurring disorders. Patients learn to develop skills to employ alternatives toward destructive behaviors and manage the emotions that trigger use. Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

Forensic Court Evaluation:

This program is designed for individuals who have been referred by the courts, probation, TASC or their attorney for a forensic clinical assessment to determine the degree of chemical dependency and/or the appropriate level of care for treatment. The assessment process includes individual consultation, urine assays, co-lateral contacts and hair follicle testing if requested.

Drug Screening & On-going Monitoring Program:

Sancia Recovery, Inc. test for all drugs of abuse using two separate methods that are both forensically valid. Urine assay tests for recently used drugs and hair analysis that can detect chronic use for up to nine months.

Impaired Health Professional Program:

The IHP Program provides specialized treatment for the licensed professional. The goal of this program is to provide the support and treatment necessary to return them to their active careers as sober professionals. The program includes forensic toxicology & random monitoring as well as professional licensure advocacy.
